Come along to Handsworth Healthy Histories walk, on the Saturday 11th September 2010, meet us at the front entrance on Soho House Museum on the grounds of Soho House at 12.30pm, 1.30 pm and 2.30pm.

The tour will start from the Soho Museum to St Mary’s Church on the edge of Handsworth Park, stopping at the Sons of Rest building where there will be Health Zone set-up, an opportunity to find out about health in the past and present featuring horrible disease make up, in addition share your stories with health researchers and tell us what you think about health in the past and future. Followed by stops at the bandstand and Boat House Café, leading to the end of tour at the St Mary’s Church where you have an optional tour of the church.

St Mary’s Church will be open to visitors from 10am until 4pm. There will be a free tresure hunt for children and all the family in Handsworth Park.
