Music and dance were some of the great successes at the recent Party in the Park event at Waverhill Park on 17th July. Despite the early showers the huge turnout were treated to some spectacular entertainment which captured the imagination of party goers of all ages.
DJ Hector entertained the crowd with his own unique fusion of music and dance. Here he is in action!
There was also an opportunity for party goers to play different types of drums as well as get involved in the arts and crafts. Here is one young party goer creating her own beat!
Residents also had the opportunity to place their vote to help choose a sculpture which is to be installed in Waverhill Park. Watch this space for news on which sculpture has been chosen.
It was great to see the local community coming together and having a great time. The feedback was very positive and it was good to see families and the community enjoying a wonderful event organised by Colin Hanno and his team.
