Welcome
Welcome to The Soho Times – the Community Newspaper for the Soho Road, Handsworth and Dudley Road Communities.
Whether you've lived here for 50 years or just arrived from another part of the country or another part of the world you've got to admit the neighbourhoods that make up the Soho Road, Handsworth and Dudley Road communities are diverse and vibrant. Its not perfect and changes need to be made but how do you make sure your voice is heard amongst all the other noise going on? How do you help make a difference to your community and link with others who want to do the same? Welcome to The Soho Times - the community newspaper for the community by the community.
Do - These are the amazing stories about your neighbourhood that we want to share, celebrate and tell the world about. What makes you proud about your neighbourhood? Are there places that are especially important to you? Do you or someone you know do something in the community that would inspire others?
Dream - What are your dreams for your neighbourhood? What would you change or add to make it better? Share you ideas. Your neighbours might want the same dreams to happen.
Pledge - How could we work together to make our dreams for the neighbourhood happen? Make a promise to take action here. The more people that pledge to an idea the more likely it is to take place.
